1, terminal check the wire off
First remove the control terminals on both sides of the control ECU and sensors, and measure the resistance between the corresponding terminals of the terminals. If the resistance is less than 1 ohm, the wire is OK for the next inspection. When measuring the wire resistance, it is best to gently shake the wire in both vertical and horizontal directions to improve the measurement accuracy. Also note that for most wire connectors, the multimeter meter should be inserted from the rear of the terminal, but The watertight connector stem with a waterproof case cannot be inserted from the rear end, because the terminal may be deformed by being carelessly inserted.
2. Check the short-circuit resistance of the terminal
First remove the conductor connection terminals on both sides of the control computer ECU and the sensor, and then measure the resistance values ​​between the terminals on both sides of the electrical connector and the body. During the measurement, one end of the table rod is connected to the body of the vehicle and the other end is to be measured on the conductor connectors on both sides. If the resistance value is greater than 1 ohm, it means that the wire and the body have no short-circuit fault.
3, terminal appearance and contact pressure check
First of all, you should remove each terminal block one by one, check the terminals for any rust and dirt, and clean the rust and dirt. Then check if the terminal strip is loose or damaged, and if the terminal is firmly fixed, the terminal should not be loosened when it is gently pulled. Conversely, if the plug terminal in which the plug hole is pulled out is easier than the other block holes, the block hole may cause a malfunction in the contact during use.
