Overview
The MAX9934 is primarily used for bidirectional (charge/discharge), unidirectional current measurement in battery-powered portable devices and notebooks. At +25°C, the input offset voltage (VOS) is only 10μV (max) over the entire -0.1V to 5.5V input common-mode voltage range and is independent of VCC. The device's high-precision input parameters allow the use of very small sense voltages (typically ±10mV full scale) to support minimum leakage current detection.
The MAX9934 outputs a current signal proportional to the input VSENSE, providing a gain selection of 25μA/mV or 5μA/mV (GM) with a gain accuracy of better than 0.25% (max) at +25°C. A Chip Select (CS) signal allows multiple current outputs of the MAX9934 to be multiplexed into the ADC channel of a single microcontroller (see the Typical Operating Circuit). CS is compatible with 1.8V and 3.3V logic systems.
The MAX9934 operates from a 2.5V to 3.6V VCC supply and has a quiescent current of only 120μA (typ). At power-down (VCC = 0V), RS+ and RS- leakage currents are less than 0.1nA (typ), reducing battery load. The MAX9934 is extremely reliable, with input differential voltage fault protection up to ±6V between RS+ and RS-.
The MAX9934 operates over the -40°C to +125°C temperature range and is available in an 8-pin μMAX? or 6-bump UCSP? (1mm x 1.5mm x 0.6mm) package ideal for space-constrained systems.

Glass Reinforced Plastic Ladder Cable Tray
Glass Reinforced Plastic Ladder Cable Tray is a type of cable management system that is used to support and protect electrical cables and wires. It is made of Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP), which is a composite material consisting of a plastic resin reinforced with glass fibers. This material is known for its high strength, durability, and resistance to corrosion and weathering.
The ladder cable tray design consists of a series of rungs that are connected by longitudinal side rails, forming a ladder-like structure. The rungs are spaced at regular intervals to provide support for the cables, while the side rails provide rigidity and stability to the tray. The design also allows for easy installation and maintenance of the cables, as they can be easily accessed from the top or bottom of the tray.
One of the key advantages of using Glass Reinforced Plastic Ladder Cable Tray is its resistance to corrosion and weathering. This makes it an ideal choice for use in harsh environments, such as chemical plants, oil refineries, and offshore platforms. The material is also non-conductive, which means that it does not conduct electricity, making it safe to use in areas where there is a risk of electrical shock.
Another advantage of using Glass Reinforced Plastic Ladder Cable Tray is its lightweight and easy-to-handle nature. Unlike traditional metal cable trays, which can be heavy and difficult to install, GRP cable trays are lightweight and easy to transport, making them ideal for use in applications where weight is a concern. Additionally, the material is non-magnetic, which means that it does not interfere with electronic equipment or other sensitive devices.
