Summary:

This document describes an isolated, power factor-corrected, extremely efficient LED driver that provides 500mA (nominal) current drive for a 30V LED string. The input voltage range is from 90VAC to 265VAC.

This LED driver uses the LNK407EG device from the LinkSwitch-PH family of ICs. The device integrates a controller and a 725V MOSFET to dramatically reduce design complexity and component count.

This document contains LED driver specifications, schematics, bill of materials, transformer specification files, and typical performance characteristics.
