Panasonic reorganizes its nine business divisions including LED lighting
[High-tech LED News] Japanese lighting manufacturer Panasonic Electric has decided to dissolve on January 1, 2012, and is included in the Japanese electronics giant Panasonic. Including the Japanese home appliance manufacturer Sanyo Electric, the three companies will reorganize nine business units.
Panasonic Electric said that the LED lighting business will continue to be produced in Japan in the future to ensure product quality.
After the merger of Panasonic Electric and Panasonic, the business unit will be divided into five groups for integration. First, the electronics business will be integrated with Panasonic's white goods division, while the electronic materials and control machinery business will be integrated with Panasonic Electronic Devices. Lighting, information technology business and building materials business will integrate panasonic lighting company and establish environmental energy solution company, with a total of three departments.
