Jedi Survival VR is more exciting when you log in to Steam on 2018.
In the HTC Vive section of the Reddit Forum, Sean Pinnock, Creative Director of Oneiric Entertainement, posted that his company is making a VR version of “The Jedi Survival†at the request of players. The name is “Virtual Battlegrounds,†and a Game demonstration.
According to Sean's introduction, the VR gameplay is the same as the "Jade for survival." The game is currently under development. The tentative goal is to support up to 16 players in the map. If the feedback is good, the ceiling may be raised to 24 or 30 people.
The map size of the game is 4km x 4km, which is slightly smaller than the 8km x 8km map of Jedi, but considering the number of players and the characteristics of VR games, it is not too small. Sean said that such maps are already very large. In order to deal with this problem, the number of vehicles in the game will be much more than that of Jedi.
Weapons will also be like "Jade for survival," adding a wealth of firearms, as well as magnifying glass, muffler and other accessories.
Many contents of the game are still under planning, and in order to adapt to the gameplay of VR devices, developers are also planning to design some interesting things. For example, the backpack in "The Jedi survived" is planned to be designed as a player "real" back in the VR version. In the body bag, take out or put in items need to use the controller to remove the backpack. Parachuting also hopes to be able to control with the help of arm movements. In short, everything is as realistic as possible.
The game is expected to be launched in 2018 and will land on Steam, supporting HTC Vive and Oculus Rift.
