Electronic disinfection circuit using ozone tube
The picture shows an electronic disinfection circuit using an ozone tube. The circuit includes a multivibrator, boost drive stage and ozone tube. The time base circuit 555 and R1, R2, R3, etc. form a multivibrator. The oscillation frequency is preferably 15 to 20 kHz. The output oscillating square wave of 555 causes the working indicator LCD1 to emit light, and is applied to the b pole of the power transistor VT1 through the current limiting resistor R4, and the transformer T is amplified by the VT1. The step-up transformer T has a small primary inductance L1 and a large secondary inductance, and constitutes a high-frequency high-voltage pulse with a boost ratio of about 160 times, and is applied to the two extremes of the ozone tube. When air or oxygen molecules pass through an electrode of about 1500V, oxygen molecules in the air are ionized under the bombardment of high-speed moving electrons, and some oxygen molecules are polymerized into ozone molecules.
