Nanjing 500 solar lighting will arrive in Lhasa next week
The 500 solar lighting lamps donated by Nanjing Science and Technology Bureau will be delivered to Lhasa next week. They will be installed in the agricultural and pastoral areas of Mozhugongka County, which is aided by Nanjing, and will send light to local farmers and herdsmen.
Tibet's remote agricultural and pastoral areas are sparsely populated and scattered. Many farmers and herdsmen rely on butter lamps for lighting at night. However, the solar energy resources in Tibet are very rich. This time, the Nanjing Science and Technology Bureau raised 300,000 yuan of funds and organized the production and design of 500 solar lighting lamps through social bidding.
