Tencent Digital (Meng Xianyu) On August 26th, at the 2016 Texas Instruments DLP Innovation Display Application Seminar held in Shenzhen, Texas Instruments demonstrated a variety of products using DLP technology. Using programmable DLP technology, developers can easily convert from creative to final products, creating corporate, home and entertainment display products, including screenless TVs, head-mounted displays, tablet computers, and smart robots.

According to reports, Texas Instruments DLP Pico chip can achieve bright, efficient and scalable solutions in a small size, and can display large images and video. Among them, DLP4710 is a full HD 1080p chip; it can provide full HD display for small applications such as pico projector, mobile smart TV, smart home display, HUD, digital signage and wearable devices.
The DLP chip was invented by Dr. Larry Hornbeck in 1987. In 1996, Texas Instruments applied DLP technology to the real world of projection. For the average family, DLP technology was mainly applied to miniature projection and automotive applications. Projection applications include home projectors, cell phones, tablets, toys, companion robots, and more. At the scene, Texas Instruments also demonstrated these products from consumer electronics manufacturers at home and abroad.
