Bridgelux builds new LED lighting module for May shipment

In order to reduce the price of Helieon, Bridgelux cooperated with Molex, an electrical system and fiber optic product developer, to propose a design concept that can be easily disassembled and upgraded. Mike Picini, vice president of Molex, said that the connector and socket design is the focus of the LED market, allowing customers to replace the entire set of lighting equipment to meet future needs. Picini said that creating LED emitters with a long-lasting overall transmission efficiency is a challenge for the industry.
The new product is expected to be mass-produced in Q2 and is currently scheduled for shipment in May.
