Beijing, October 22, 2014 . Texas Instruments (TI) today announced the industry's first 24V sinusoidal sensorless brushless DC (BLDC) motor driver. The DRV10983 features a configurable 3A driver with integrated control logic to help customers achieve reliable startup and optimum performance with fast tuning motors. The 180V sinusoidal sensorless technology of the DRV10983 reduces noise by up to 75% compared to competing solutions, meeting the needs of cooling fans, ceiling fans, blowers and small appliances.
Key features and benefits of the DRV10983:
· Ultra-quiet work: 180-degree pure sinusoidal sensorless work combined with advanced start-up algorithms produces 75% less noise than competing products, enabling ultra-quiet operation without annoying humming or humming at startup. The main noise source (pure harmonics) in fan applications can reduce power up to 25dBA units;
No code configurability: no need for complex microcontroller coding or specialized motor knowledge, adjustment of various motors with simple register settings for optimum performance and most reliable start-up;
· Comprehensive protection kit: Advanced on-chip protection including voltage surge (AVS) overvoltage, overcurrent, overtemperature, breakdown, undervoltage lockout, and advanced five-stage rotor lock protection not only simplifies design complexity, but also Can also improve the reliability of the system;
Fully integrated solution: A single-chip solution with integrated power FETs, sensorless control logic and optional 100mA, 3.3 or 5V step-down converters reduces board space, reduces system cost and reduces development time.
Tools and support
The DRV10983EVM Evaluation Board (EVM) is a low-cost, sensorless solution for running 3-phase BLDC motors. The EVM includes not only BLDC motors, but also a graphical user interface (GUI), schematics, and gerber files.
Availability and packaging
The DRV10983 is available now in a 24-pin, 8 mm & TImes; 6 mm HTSSOP package.

Day by day more and more mobile phones are with usb-c port, which makes type c phone charger very popularly used in the market. Type c phone charger have desktop type and wall type, and there are usb-c 2.0 and usb-c 3.0, usb-c 3.0 is much faster than usb-c 2.0, and more popularly used currently, usb-c 3.0 output is normally 3.8V-6.5V 3A, 6.5V-9V 2A, 9-12V 1.5A 18W, it is with PD, PD means power delivery, which can transfer high power at one time, this is why your mobile phone and tablet can be charged fast! And one more point, if normal usb-c port not with PD, the output is only 5V 3A, it doesn`t charge so fast like the one with PD.
Yidashun not only has home type-c phone charger 12W 18W 30W 48W 60W, but also car usb-c phone charger 24W, and they are also with usb-ports, which can charge all different devices at one time anywhere!
