EA accidentally genuine game free gift

EA recently provided Origin users with a $20 discount discount code (OS3874XVC). Under normal circumstances, discount codes are used once. However, the EA made a low-level error. This discount code is not a server-side authentication (available without logging in). It is not applicable to only one product, but can be applied to all products.

In other words, if you add dozens of games to your shopping cart, then each game can be reduced by $20, meaning that over $1,000 worth of games for $20 is given to players.

According to Solidot, EA has now fixed the error and the coupon code has expired, but many players have used it to purchase the game and it is unclear how EA will respond to this.
