China Lighting Association promotes power saving in the lighting industry
The Lighting Forum was held in Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province. The forum was hosted by China Lighting Association, China Lighting Association Outdoor Lighting Professional Committee and China Municipal Engineering Association Urban Road Lighting Professional Committee to promote the lighting industry's power saving work. China Lighting Association Chairman Chen Yansheng and Vice Mayor of Yangzhou Wen Daocai attended the meeting.
Liu Sheng, vice chairman of the China Lighting Association, said at the opening ceremony that the forum is held every year and this year is the fourth. In recent years, with the rapid development of urban construction in China, the power consumption of urban public lighting is increasing, and it is urgent to vigorously promote green lighting. At present, some new technologies are not yet fully mature, many companies are still in the trial stage, and energy-saving technologies are mainly used for non-functional landscape lighting. If the combination of green lighting technology and practical application is combined, it will have a very positive effect on promoting urban lighting power saving work.
Jiangsu Gaoyou Mayor Fan Tianen introduced the development of the lighting industry in the city. He said that after more than 30 years of development, there are currently more than 500 related production companies and more than 500 sales companies. New energy, new materials, and new light source industries have made great progress. Wen Daocai said that LED related products in Gaoyou City have formed a sound industrial chain with broad development prospects.
After the forum, the participants visited Yangzhou Baode Lighting Equipment Co., Ltd., Yangzhou Longteng Lighting Equipment Co., Ltd., Yangzhou Jinyuan Lighting Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Sufa Lighting Industry Co., Ltd. and other road lighting production enterprises.
