In 2012, AMD will launch the next-generation "Bulldozer" architecture processor, code-named "Komodo," in the high-end segment, using a 32-nm process with eight physical cores and incorporating a GPU core that supports DX11.

In the mainstream and entry-level markets will be available products code-named "Trinity", the same 32nm process, based on the next-generation "Bulldozer" architecture, with 2-4 and physical core and integration DX11 GPU core.

The 28nm process will be the first to be used in AIO and small platforms. AMD will launch a product named "Krishna" in this field. Based on the "Bobcat" architecture, it will have 2-4 physical cores and will also integrate DX11 GPU cores.

In the field of mobile platforms, AMD will launch products code-named "Trinity" for performance and mainstream markets in 2012. It will still use 32nm technology, adopt the next-generation "Bulldozer" architecture, have 2-4 physical cores, and integrate DX11 GPUs. .

In addition, AMD will also launch APUs, codenamed "Krishna" and "Wichita", for entry-level notebooks, netbooks and tablet PCs. Based on the 28nm process, AMD will have 1-4 "Bobact" cores, as well as a GPU core supporting DX11. .

Judging from the above roadmap, AMD's 28nm core technology products will not be available until 2012 at the earliest. It is not yet known whether TSMC or Globalfoundries will be selected as a foundry.
