Empower RF launches solid-state GaN system amplifier

Empower RF Systems recently introduced a single-band solid-state gallium nitride (GaN) system amplifier. This amplifier can provide at least 150W of power throughout the 0.6-6GHz frequency band.

Model 2223 is equipped with internal DDC, external forward and reverse sampling ports, and a web service GUI with dedicated functions to simplify integration with test applications. And it is also suitable for use in production workshops, engineering laboratories or anechoic rooms.

For machine-to-machine (M2M) applications, 2223 uses TCP/IP or UDP protocol sockets. In-depth security visual alarm monitoring on the front panel will also be launched from the LAN port.

In addition, other features of this amplifier include:

·Choose 400Hz or DC;

·The mismatch tolerance ranges from 3-to-1 to full rated power, 6-to-1 to ½Psat;

·High mean time to failure (MTTF);

· Touch screen, and remote monitoring through web browser;

· Provide automatic level control (ALC) and automatic gain control (AGC);

·Precise monitoring of CW/FM/AM/pulse/digital modulation.

Empower RF Systems is located in Inglewood, California, USA and produces RF and microwave power amplifiers for defense, commercial and industrial applications.
