Article 5 The administrative department of construction under the State Council shall be responsible for the management of water quality in urban water supply throughout the country.
The administrative department of construction of the People's Government of Sheng Autonomous Region is responsible for the water quality management of urban water supply within its administrative area.
The urban construction administrative department of the urban people's government is responsible for the water quality management of urban water supply within its administrative area.
Article 6 The urban water supply quality management industry monitoring system consists of national and local urban water supply quality monitoring networks.

Article 11 The urban water supply source shall be divided into water source protection areas according to the relevant provisions of the State, and obvious signs of scope and signs of prohibition shall be established. Article 13 Urban water supply enterprises shall do a good job in water source protection and water source water quality testing. Article 24 If the urban water supply quality monitoring station violates these regulations and has one of the following acts, the urban construction administrative department shall give a warning and may impose a fine of 1,000 yuan or more and 10,000 yuan or less:
