Wuhan invested 250 million street lamps to renovate nearly 10,000 miles

The Wuhan Municipal Construction Committee recently announced that this year, Wuhan invested 250 million yuan for the construction of street lamps. It will install 4,500 new street lamps for the community, 1000 lights for the village community, and 4,000 community street lamps.

It is reported that 250 million yuan is mainly invested in three major directions: 1. Community lighting and renovation. According to the Wuhan Street Light Administration, as of now, 676 communities in the city have proposed 16163 defects in lighting requirements. After investigation, there were a total of 11149盏 without installation conditions, policy provisions or design principles. Mainly refers to the urban villages beyond the Central Line area, large enterprise dormitories, development communities, and remote areas. This year, 4,500 baht of lights were installed in 391 communities across the city. 2, solve the road without lights. This year, there were 5 roadless and light-free projects, with 634 lights installed, involving areas such as Jinghan Avenue, Yanhe Avenue and Yanjiang Avenue Extension. 3. Improve the road lighting environment. Focus on the renovation of street lighting facilities with illuminance attenuation and aging equipment, and replace and use energy-saving lamps. This year, 24 plans will be implemented and 2,602 lamps will be installed. It benefits from around Wuhuidi, around Wu'an Road, around Dingziqiao Road, around Huanong School, around Nanhu Garden, and around Dikejiao Road. In addition, the restoration of stolen street lighting equipment and the implementation of anti-theft technology for the street lighting facilities in the main sections of the city are also the tasks of street lighting construction this year.
