EverLED TR: Direct replacement of existing fluorescent tubes
Randolph, Vermont - LEDdynamics announces the new EverLEDTR, a revolutionary product that replaces existing fluorescent lamps directly with LEDs, all you need to do is replace the bulbs. EverLEDTR uses the base of an existing fluorescent lamp and achieves the brightness of the fluorescent lamp it replaces, making it the only product that can truly replace fluorescent lamps.
LED lighting technology includes various advantages, including energy saving, long life, good light color and low temperature rise. In addition, EverLEDTR does not contain any harmful substances such as lead and mercury, and there is no glass casing that is easily broken. EverLEDTR is the first commercial product to replace other light sources with LEDs without changing external equipment.
The EverLEDTR is a replacement for the 48-inch T8 fluorescent lamp, which now comes in five standard shapes, from daylight to warm white. The 48-inch S-type provides the equivalent of a 40W fluorescent lamp with a power consumption of only 25W. The 24-inch, 60-inch and 72-inch products will be available in the third quarter of 2007.
EverLEDTR's patented circuit allows LEDs to draw power directly from existing fluorescent lamp holders. This technology also reduces power consumption and provides good compatibility with T12, T10 or T8 fluorescent tubes.
“In the US alone, we have to deal with 620 million fluorescent lights a year,†said Bill McGrath, chairman of LEDdynamics. “Many of them are not handled properly and will cause harm to people and the environment. Before that, there was no better choice. But with the launch of EverLEDTR, now, anyone can enjoy the clean, safe and good LED light source. The light is gone."
