The address input AO~A7 of HY420 has a valid value range of OOOOOOOO~10011111. The figure above is the segmentation application circuit of the HY420. The start address (time) of each segment is set by grounding the address line through a diode. The address line connecting the diode is the address "o", and the address line not connected to the diode is connected to the high level by the pull-up resistor to the address "1". If the time of the segmentation is fixed and the number of segments is small, the diode code can be omitted, so that the circuit is simpler. For example, it is required to divide into 2 segments, each time is 10 seconds. Just connect A4 and A6 to lOOkΩ pull-up resistor to vCC in Figure 5, and the other address lines are grounded. It is required to be divided into four segments, each time is 5 seconds. Just connect A3 and A5 to pull-up resistor to Vcc in Figure 5, and the other address lines can be grounded to achieve segmentation.

The address line of HY420 can be directly connected with single-chip microcomputer and microcomputer, and realizes the combination of segmented recording and playback and sentence splicing under the micro-processing control mode, and its use is more extensive.
