I. Analysis of the total export value of LED lighting in China in January 2017
According to the statistics of the High-tech LED Industry Research Institute (GGII), the total export value of LED lighting products in China in January 2017 reached 1.689 billion US dollars, an increase of 88%. In the main 15 categories of lamps analyzed by GGII, there has been a similar increase, which reflects to some extent the situation of the LED lighting industry in China.

2. Analysis of the overall export volume of LED lighting in China in January 2017
According to the statistics of the High-tech LED Industry Research Institute (GGII), the number of LED lighting products exported in China reached 1.56 billion in January 2017, not 108% compared with 2016.
According to the High-tech LED Research Institute, the amount and quantity of LED lighting exports in China increased significantly in January 2017, mainly for the following reasons:
1) The combined effect of exchange rate factors and the effects of domestic policies;
2) External demand picks up. Driven by the seasonal recovery in consumption and production and operation activities of major overseas economies, China's export growth rate began to increase in January.

III. Analysis of the average export price of China's LED lighting in January 2017
According to the statistics of the High-tech LED Industry Research Institute (GGII), the average export price of LED lighting products in China in January 2017 was US$1.08 per unit, down 9% compared with 2016.
Among the destination countries for LED lighting exports, the average price for exports to Cuba is the highest, reaching $2.12 per unit. The Gaogong LED Research Institute believes that this is not related to Cuba's economic development needs. The lamps exported to the region are mainly industrial and mining lamps and tunnel lights for industrial lighting, which in turn raises the average price of exports.

IV. Analysis of the overall export destination of LED lighting in China in January 2017
According to the statistics of the High-tech LED Industry Research Institute (GGII), in January 2017, the top ten destinations of China's LED lighting products accounted for 57% of total. Among them, the proportion of the United States is 28%, and the distribution of LED lighting products is as shown in the following figure:

V. Analysis of China's LED lighting export enterprises in January 2017
According to the statistics of the High-tech LED Industry Research Institute (GGII), in January 2017, the top ten enterprises of LED lighting products in China accounted for 5% of the total.

In terms of export volume, in January 2017, China's top ten LED lighting products accounted for 7% of the total. Due to changes in the structure of export products, the top ten companies have also changed.
For example, Lidaxin Green Lighting Co., Ltd. and Hengdian Group Debon Lighting Co., Ltd., which mainly export bulbs, did not enter the top ten rankings of this month's exports.

6. China's LED lighting export trend forecast in 2017
1. The overall environment of exports is improving, and the industry is showing a warming trend;
2. Due to the strict control of intellectual property rights of exporting countries and the high requirements of green energy conservation and environmental protection, the average export price has slowed down;
3. The structure of export products continues to change, and the proportion of LED panel lights and lamps will increase.
