Korea Research Center Selects VEECO MOCVD for LED Technology Development

Veeco has announced that Korea's LED-IT Fusion Technology R&D Center (LIFTRC) has selected TurboDisc K465i MOCVD for the development of high-brightness LEDs, including green LEDs and ultraviolet (UV) LEDs.

Dr. Ja-Soon Jang, Ph.D., Director of Electronic Engineering at Lingnan University, said: "The Veeco K465i device can help us research and develop a new generation of LED technology under a fully automated and low-cost platform. Veeco's leading position in the industry and Localized technical support will help us achieve our goals of working with local and global leaders."

Dr. William J.
